This study guide can be of great use to students, when used in conjunction to the text $IPrinciples of Statistics$I by Paul Herzberg. Each chapter of the text has a corresponding chapter in this study
guide. Each of the chapters consist of three parts. The first part is a list of objectives which provides the students with a comprehensive list of tasks that they should be able to accomplish after completing the
chapter. Part two is a list of tips and reminders, each of which may discuss a certain topic in greater detail than the text does, point out common sources of errors in hopes of preventing them, organize the text
material visually in a figure or chart, or it may familiarize the student with notation symbols, formulas, or other routine operations. The third section is a practice quiz consisting of ten multiple choice questions.
The first chapter is a math preparation that is designed to review all of the mathematical operations and procedures needed in this course. |
