Based on empirical research and practice, this work concerns the application of Gestalt theory to a wide range of subjects,
including problems of aging; poor health, such as multiple sclerosis; chronic conditions, such as schizophrenia; and stress and crisis-related trauma. The author presents clear intervention exercises that can be used by practitioners who may not be familiar with Gestalt therapeutic techniques. Material has also been included that relates to helping normal, functioning people to improve their human relationships. |
