This book is devoted to the specialized subject of pneumatics. Its purposes are 1) to explain clearly the basic mechanics
of compressible flow, 2) to formulate general procedures for preliminary evaluation and detailed design analysis of pneumatic components and systems, and 3) to provide the basic tools required to perform this analysis efficiently. The book contains all the information usually needed to perform steady-state and dynamic analysis of common pneumatic systems. Special attention is given to clear presentation of equations, methods of solution, handbook-type solutions, worked-out numerical examples,
and tables of frequently used constants for common gases. |
